# How to book a lesson

Before you can book a lesson you will need to access the coach's booking page which you will find via the coach's **TotalCoach Athlete bookings QR code/booking URL**. 

Once you are on the coach's booking page, you will now be able to book a lesson by following these simple steps:

1\. **Select Coach and Location:** Search by Location or Coach then press continue.

2. **Select Service:** Choose a Lesson, Group Lesson, Package of Lessons (paid up front) or a Programme of Lessons (pay as you go).

3. **Choose a date and time** for your lesson then tap **Confirm time** and press **Continue.**&#x20;

4. Review your **Booking Summary,** then tap **Continue to payment.**

5. Create an account or **Sign in** to **Confirm and Pay.**

6. **Confirm and Pay for your lesson**. Enter your credit card number in the **Payment info** section, tap **Enter your card** then click **Confirm and pay** to secure your lesson booking. There is a 15-minute time limit to complete the transaction. If the time limit expires, it will be necessary to restart the lesson booking process.

7. You will receive a payment confirmation via the app and by email. Inside **TotalCoach Athlete** your new lessons will appear in the **Activity Feed** on your **Home page** and in **Upcoming lessons** on the **Lessons** page.
8. &#x20;If this is your first time booking a lesson, we recommend completing your profile which can be found by tapping the menu icon <img src="https://support-totalcoach.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/900008235686/Hamburger.png" alt="Hamburger.png" data-size="line"> on the top right corner of the screen. Tap your name, or tap your profile icon on the top right of your computer screen, then **Profile**. The answers to these questions help your coach understand your sporting history and goals and therefore personalize your lesson.
