# Adding exercises to lessons
Add exercises to your lessons for your athletes to view outside of the lesson.
1. Open the lesson you would like to add a [premade exercise](/coaches/support-for-coaches-organisations/welcome-to-totalcoach-support/setting-up-your-workspace/adding-exercises.md) to and scroll down to **Lesson exercise +**.
2. Select the category where you have stored the exercise.
3. Select the exercise and **Save**. This will load the exercise into the lesson where the athlete(s) can view it.
4. Once the exercise is clicked it will show the description and any images or videos you have attached.
